Kylie Cosmetics Birthday Launch Birthday Collection 

Hooray! Kylie Jenner turned 22 on August 10, and the billionaire makeup mogul released a new Limited Edition Birthday collection. Earlier last week Jenner revealed the theme for her collection via Instagram. Kylie teased fans with a sneak peak photo she dropped on Instagram  in an all money green dress and gloves with the caption reading “Can you guess what the theme is.”

 

Since inception of Kylie Cosmetics , Kylie has always released special collections and products in honor of significant people and dates in her life.This birthday launch Jenner chose money as her theme to commemorate her accomplishment of becoming the youngest self-made billionaire in history. 

 

 So what can we expect from Kylie Cosmetics Collection?. You know we have all the details! Jenner is introducing an array of new products such as a brush-tip eyeliner($18), a Loose Illuminating Face Powder($26), Kylie Cosmetics first ever Body Glow Powder($28) in gold  and three jelly highlighters($22) . The shades are Pink Paper a baby-pink shade with gold shimmers, Family is Gold a yellow gold and 22 Carats a neutral-gold hue.


Jenner also added new shades to existing products such as the Shimmer Eye Glaze($22) in shades Dime Piece a pure gold shade and Money Ain't Everything a greenish gold. A high gloss($16) called One In a Billion in a glittery pink shade. A Lip Trio($45) distributed in a money roll in three shades called: Hustle Honey a brick red, Mama Boss a cherry red color  and Money Mindset a baby pink color.


 

She also released an eyeshadow palette called You're $o Money Baby Palette ($48):The  palette has 16 shades, featuring Stacks (army green), Long Money (magenta), and Ballin Bae (molten gold). The palette has a variety of finishes, including mattes and foils and tops the collection off with a Lip Kit ($27) that has been reformulated so it won’t be as drying.Kylie also surprised fans with the release of Kylie Skin first ever primer.

 

While the Kylie Cosmetics launch may feature some great products it looks like some people aren't feeling the money theme. Commenters took to social media saying Kylie were using her products to flaunt her money. One commenter wrote "Can someone please let Kylie Jenner know that having money isn’t a personality trait.” Many others calling the theme “ Tone Deafed”.
